Remembering Carrie Fisher and Kenny Baker

Gatherings are being held at House Alderaan today after the passing of Carrie Fisher. Kenny Baker was also remembered. May the Force be with them. Kudos to the Second Mass guild for setting it up, and for posting their photos to their Facebook page.

Shadow Town breakdown

Today we're in Shadow Town on Nar Shaddaa.  It's always Friday night on Nar Shadda.  The Hutts run the game.  Mean streets and hidden cesspools of villainy everywhere.

It's very popular with the meatbags, be they imps or pubs or other.

I heat up, I can't cool down

I'm an action scarred 2V-R8 Imperial model ship droid.  My friends call me Twoovie.  You can call me 2V-R8.  I'm supposed to be luffing pillows and calculating efficiencies, not helping Jedi save the universe.

I was on Tatooine when I first became aware that I was aware.  My Jedi master was taking holos of a Sarlacc pit, the scene of an earlier adventure.  I felt nostalgic and asked him to take a holo of me with the pit behind me to store in my core memory.  Then I felt shock as I realized I had felt nostalgic.  Feeling shock was even more shocking.   Long story short, I was a mess for awhile.  My master suggested I start a blog to explore my new "sentient" condition, and to reach out to others like me who may exist.  Mine is a forward thinking master.
